Matcha demand keeps rising and our traditional stone-ground process can produce only forty grams per hour. Even running the mills twenty hours every day has not been enough. To close the gap we developed a machine-milled matcha and are offering it in the US for the first time.

 

Particle size is tightly controlled, so the powder feels silky and dissolves easily. You may not notice a difference from stone-ground texture, though the signature mill aroma is slightly gentler. Because machine milling is efficient, we can keep the price low and maintain steady stock while still using the same first-flush Uji leaves that define our line.
