100% Organic. Made in Japan.
Daichi is grown in Shizuoka, a region known for its pristine air, rich mineral soil, and long history of tea cultivation. The fields lie in soil shaped by volcanic ash from Mt. Fuji and rich in calcium—the ideal environment for nurturing flavorful, umami-rich tea leaves. It’s produced by a family-run farm that has practiced organic farming for decades—long before “organic” became a trend. Rather than using synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, the farmers enrich the soil with natural materials like fish, boosting nitrogen in the earth. This thoughtful approach enhances the depth of flavor in every batch.

Why “Daichi”?
The name Daichi (大地) means “the Earth” in Japanese. This matcha is a gift from the land—grown not by controlling nature, but by working with it. The soil, the living organisms, and the unseen world of microbes all play their part. The farmer simply steps into that natural cycle and lets the earth do what it does best. Daichi is matcha born from the blessings of the land.
